Why would social networking be considered part of Holistic?

What I see is that social networking is what will assist us into becoming “one” in our “wholeness”. As we start to communicate and network with others via the many networking formats (Facebook,  Twitter,   Linkedin,  Stumbleupon… etc), we start to see our similarities with others. We start to see that we are not alone, and there are millions of others dealing with the same things we are.
There is the opening and the possibility for seeing the world in a much different way, possibly creating more compassion and care for those in it. The ones we used to think of as “others” we might now see as “ourselves”.

I have been working with some people who have been assisting me (and thousands of others) in building networks.

First I recommend Jo Barnes (of the social networking academy) – she is a superstar with Facebook and is now branching out in teaching all aspects of social media. She has an awesome membership site which I am a member of, but you don’t have to be a member to get all sorts of valuable information for FREE!!
On the site on the left side of the page you will see lists and lists of FREE videos on:

  • Creating a Facebook page Facebook(and everything you would want to know about Facebook pages) – Including FREE welcome tab templates that you can customize for your page. She also includes many videos on marketing your page as well.
  • Creating a Twitter Page Twitter (and everything you would want to know about Twitter) – Including marketing your business there.
  • Creating a YouTube channel YouTube (and everything you would want to know about YouTube)
  • AND MUCH MORE 😆

Can you tell I really like her site?  It is really great.
